Description / Responsibilities
I'll be working with GPS buoys, which we'll use to monitor the deformation of sea ice around the site.
My tasks on MOSAiC
Deploying GPS buoys for sea ice dynamics and coordinating Ice Watch.
My biggest challenge
I'm excited to be part of such a large project--I expect to be working with the data from this project for a long time. I expect that adapting to weather is going to a challenge, because we need to be able to safely use the helicopters to deploy the buoys.
